MONTEREY RIDE

This year the ride will start at our normal starting point.
Where: Sand City Costoc Parking Lot (nearest McDonalds)
800 Playa Avenue, in Sand City 
(cheap breakfast) and OK restrooms.

RAIN DATE: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22ND

The ride will commence with a ride through Cannery Row.  Then on by the Asolimar Beach coastline, with a short stop (15min. Max) for picture taking, and restroom stop. (NOTE: THE NEXT REST STOP WILL NOT BE UNTIL APPROX. 1:30 PM), Take it easy on the coffee at Mc Donald's. We will then transverse to CA Highway 1, go about 13 miles South to our turn around point at Bixby Bridge with a few short stops along the Big Sur coast line for observation/picture taking of the absolutely beautiful Coast line. We will then return North on CA Highway 1, and then go East on Carmel Valley Road (about 3 miles) for lunch at The Baja Cantina.  We will then (time permitting) go to a motor cycle museum in Pacific Grove. We will then return to the starting point.

Ride leaves the Balogh Ranch heading to Jim Hyers place to see his collection of restored Gas Pumps, Hit-n-Miss Motors and Antique John Deer Tractors. From Jim's we will ride to Dennis Marianis Ranch to tour his shop that has about 15 Hot Rods, plus 6 Bonneville Cars that some have broken speed records at the Salt Flats.  From there we will head up to Capay Valley for lunch at The Road Trip Restaurant. On Wednesday, they have $1 hamburgers and $1 fries. They also have a full menu. There is inside and outside
seating and is a neat restaurant.
There are 5 motels in Vacaville close to 505. A Holiday Inn, Comfort Suites and Fairfield Inn Marriot. If you are coming in an RV call Pam for information if they or Jim have room.

Direction: From the Antioch Bridge HWY 160 also     known as the River Road, you travel 16.8 miles from the bridge to Isleton. When entering, Isleton go 2 blocks on River Road, turn right on C Street. There is a white
tower on the lot.
From Sacramento HWY 160 as you enter Isleton the 2nd turn will be C Street turn left at C Street.
A beautiful ride around the Delta at a slow pace. Crossing on
Ferries and stopping for lunch.

AUGUST 2017
GOODGUYS 31ST WEST COAST NATIONALS

We load the scooters in the Commercial Building Thursday the 24th at 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm. The Scooter show will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.  At the end of the show on Sunday around 3:30 pm. we can load our scooters from this Building.

Directions: Take the Bernal Exit off 680 go towards the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton on Bernal Ave. Then turn left on Valley Ave, go pass Gate 8 then turn right at Gate 12 tell the guard you are there to show your scooter at the Commercial Building then go straight on this road and through the tunnel until you come to 4 buildings on your right. There will be a sign on the building "Scoot’nd Scooters".
I will have your tickets for the shows and your VIP parking pass for each day.
Each day you attend the show you enter Gate 12. VIP parking is the parking lot on your left just before enter the tunnel.
